FAQ

This is my first photoshoot and I’m kind of nervous.

(01)

Relax. We've got this. Rest assure that I will be directing you on where and how to pose. All you have to do is relax and be willing to have fun!

What should seniors wear?

(02)

I suggest having at least two outfits. Typically one more on the dressy side and one more on the casual side. You can't go wrong with solid, darker colors...think jewel tones such as deep red, green, blue, yellow, etc.

What else should I bring?

(03)

Please feel free to bring any props that you might want in your photos...for example...if you play the guitar, bring that along! Run track? Bring your shoes. Play baseball? Bring a bat, ball and glove. Love to read? Bring your favorite book. Basically bring along any hobby that we can incorporate!

Any clothing I should avoid?

(04)

Be aware that small, repetitive prints (think dots, small squares, lines, etc.) tend to cause a distorted pattern know as moire. Neon colors will not look the same on camera as they do in person.

What else do I need to know?

(05)

Please be on time. We plan these shoots in order to capture the best light. Good light is what makes your portraits pop.

Any other tips?

Don't forget the details. Be sure to wear dress socks with your suit, belts to add another dimension to your outfit, or that statement piece of jewelry. An easy way to change up a look is to bring along a hat, jacket, or sunglasses to quickly add on for a different, fun look.
